Managing Time in a High Speed World

Time management was supposed to be an obsolete need by now, what with all the technological advances that make our lives easier, theoretically freeing up lots of time for us to just enjoy ourselves.  Our progress however, has actually given us many more ways to use up our time, along with a helpless sense that it is passing by at a frightening pace.  In this seminar, we will explore the following key concepts and skills for getting your time and your life back under control:

1.  The real value of time – It is the most precious resource you have; using it poorly is one of the costliest mistakes you can make.

2.  The true purpose of time management  -- Do you desire machine-like efficiency… or the ability to get the most fulfillment out of your time?  Do it right, and you get the best of both approaches.

3.  The right attitude – If you think there’s no way you could manage your time any better than you do, you’ll get evidence to the contrary in less than 30 seconds.

4.  Task-management basics – How to get the necessary chores of living done in the shortest reasonable amount of time.

5.  Life-management basics – How to get more fulfillment out of the time that you have.

6.  Real-world perspectives for keeping your priorities in order. – With these, the rest comes pretty easily.
